Hi All,

Ed's comment is a good one. I think spending $Ks on a piece of gear is 
worth a phone call. Not too many countries that cost over 50 US 
cents/min. Couple dollars spent gives you an impression of the seller. 
Calling UK and Netherlands is a dime/min or less. We in NA are fortunate 
that many folks everywhere (Thanks Walt Disney) know some English. Any 
seller who "can't give out a phone number", should keep his/her radio; 
might have Si termites.

I've been getting a fair amount of the ancillary offers described in 
this thread/rope. I answer each one asking for the gear to be sent first 
DHL; I pay after delivery; no takers yet; smiling emoticon.
