[Premium-Rx] RF590 question

I think the 590A has a fractional n synthesizer and the 590 has multi loop.
I would be interested to know which one is cleaner. fc

The first thing to do is see if it passes the BITE test ok.  Just press the
TEST button on the front panel.  If it runs all the way through with no
problems, it's working correctly.

As far as the difference between the 590 and 590A, I understand the
synthesizer on the 590A is on a single board.  The synthesizer on the 590 is
on five seperate boards.  I would rather have the 590's arrangement.  If
something goes wrong, it would be easier and less costly to replace one
small board rather than one large one.  Other than that, the performance is
just about identical on both versions.
