I think it's reasonable to allow members to mention exceptionally rare and desirable items they are offering on an auction site.
If you can find another one at an on line dealer, or someone else is likely to list one within the next year or two, it's probably not exceptionally rare.
Examples of radios within my suggested guideline are a R1414/urr and the WJ system built for the Shah of Iran.
I think restricting members from mentioning their own items is counter productive. It's too easy for people to work around that sort of restriction, and I'd rather not encourage members to be less than honest with each other.
