 :)  or possibly :(  This obviously was the design philosophy by the time the 
HF100Oa was built- I can receive it on the navy version of the 8718A but not 
the other way around.

Curious if anyone knows if the ANN/UR 74(v)-2 was any better shielded than 
the 8718A - the literature doesn't mention it, but it seems pretty tight, and 
was used in some applications where you wouldn't think leaky RF would be 
tolerable...
