Just a note on this puppy. I don't think it's really a 'receiver' in the
traditional sense, but might more accurately be called a tuned detector used for
testing microwave components. I think it's demodulation capabilities are
limited.
If you want a receiver for these bands, consider an AIL 7x7 series (or other)
spectrum analyzer and add a directional coupler in the 230 MHz IF and route that
output to another receiver with demod capabilities (like a DEI R-1037). The
first LO can be phase locked and it has a YIG pre-selector, useful to reject
images.
