Meir and John,

  many thanks for your advices and opinions. Yes, I suspected the EK07 
is the better
item between the two, but I have no chances my friend will pass it to 
me... :-(
I can only aspire to the Marconi Apollo, which, BTW, is a bit smaller so 
will fit
better on my table :-)  any clue where to find (possibly downloading) 
service and/or
operating manuals for this rig ?   Google is of not help.   Thanks.
