Brings back old memories! Know the old FLR/9 well. As a newly assigned A1C
at Misawa AB Japan I was given my first radio maintenance assignment of
checking out every coax run in the brickhouse between every goniometer and
every A,B and C element with a TDR. Boy that was fun! Then when questionable
runs were found I had to check out the connections at each antenna
feedpoint. For the A band elements that meant climbing up Inside the ground
sleeve.
Anyone else on the list work on these beasts?

Hi All ...
We've had discussions in the distant past about Wullenweber antennas, known
