Thanks Rich for that article. I don't really see how this subject could be considered off topic as there are at least a few premium receivers that offer diversity reception as an option. For quite some time now I have been wanting to rig up a diversity reception system at HF, this is why I have been aquiring my premium receivers in pairs. I have a lot of experience with diversity systems in point to point microwave links and have also seen some really neat looking triple and quad diversity tropo scatter antenna systems used for links to off shore drilling platforms. I would like to hear from other members that have played with HF diversity systems, I am particularly interested in the antenna systems they used. One other want, if anyone has the documentation for the diversity option offered on the WJ 8718 series receivers I would very much like to obtain a copy.

Capt. Paul Lee, W3JHR, wrote a great article in the May 1964 issue of
CQ Magazine entitled DIVERSITY RECEPTION MADE EASY.

I have it scanned in a PDF file if anyone wants a copy.
