Hello, gentlemen,

i  am back from vacation and read thru the reflector and get the impression,
we are drfiting away from "premium RECEIVERS" ..

YES,  we could add ALL prof.+mil. radios to the list, transceiver, receiver,
why  not  transmitters  (a  kind  of receiver, if adjusted a little bit [WAS
possible with "oldies", long before i was born)

the  RF-500  is a fine EXCITER, true, the 718U-n is a fine tranceiver, true,
with great receivers, but they are NOT premium receivers ...

i do not want to start a flame/revolution, but i think we should rethink the
roots ...
