I didn't mean to imply that OTH radar and/or the Woddpecker was BS.  As I
recall it was the Russian Woodpecker that caused all the noise and perhaps
it included an American Woodpecker too but it was blamed on the Soviets.
Since the Chirpsounder works at HF I thought there might be some connection
between it and OTH.
