[Premium-Rx] New Member: Richard Kessler (U.S.)

Fellow Members:

Dick Kessler, K2SZE, originally from Rochester, NY, now joins our List from the cool summer shade of Scottsdale, Arizona.

After serving in the military, our newest member joined R.F. Communications as a sales representative.  When Harris Intertype bought the company in 1969, he left and started Scientific Radio Systems which designed and manufactured the US Weather Service 162 MHz system.  In 1977 he started Milcom Electronics Corporation, a sales representative organization who included Grinaker [Grinel] Electronics the old Racal South African operation, as one of his firms.  In 1985 there was another change, this time to Harris Communications as their representative in an efforts to open up sales in the Far East, specifically, China.  While at this position, Dick lived in Singapore and operated under the amateur call of 9V1YQ.

Presently Dick operates a Harris RF - 590, Rohde & Schwarz XK2100 (transceiver), pair of KWM - 380s, Signal One CX - 11A, and an ICOM 781.
