Hi Henry and group,

I've just done an experiment, admittedly not with the same file you're
working with, but I was able to reformat my printer such that it printed an
8.5 x 11 pdf file on 11 x 17...while not a complete fill, the pages were
about 80% of an 11 x 17...this might help your schematic issue.  If that
doesn't help, I can supply you with copies 11 x 17 - to - 11 x 17 from an
actual hard copy manual.  Contact me off list for arrangements if needed...I
responded on list, as the 11 x 17 printout findings might be of general
interest.  Printer is an HP 5si mopier, obviously outfitted for 11 x 17.

As I understand it, factory original extenders are essentially blank modules
with pass-through cabling inside...connectors atop and on bottom...module
under test stands erect above the other modules.  I have built extenders
from stray coax jumpers that happen to have the mating connectors, and a DB
female to male jumper cable for the control & power stuff.  Works
fine...module under test lies on its back on top of other modules.

Anyone out there have a good straight front panel for a R-3030A or R-3080
case and chassis they want to sell?  I've got the Amrad pdf manual with the
8.5x11 schematics and it's nice to have but I  wonder if anyone can get me a
set of schematics on whatever size they were originally issued which I'm
guessing might have been 11x17.  I'm also looking for module extenders and
if I can't find any I'll have to build.  Did factory extenders use a printed
circuit or cables and what do they look like?
