Tom,
Check out the software Vittorio has on his web site. I use the 6.4 KHz base
band
module in my RA6830 and connect it to the computer running the software
Vittorio provides. I also have a I/Q demodulator connected to a Mot.

Howdy, Gang.
I'm looking hard at the possibility of adding an IF baseband
pickoff board to both my RA6790/GM and my RA1772. The
object is to adapt for computer decoding of Digital Radio
Mondiale.
The 6790 presents the least problems it looks like; the stock
commercially available board (for a 455 KHz IF) should be
a piece of cake to hook up.
The 1772 on the other hand has a 1.4 MHz last IF, so it's a bit
more work to put together my own board (a mixer and an
oscillator at 1412 KHz) to do the job.
Has anyone here made the change on either receiver? How
were the results?
Thanks,
Tom, W9LBB
