While it takes some vigilance to spot them, I frequently find
good crystal filters on EBAY. I haven't gotten a bad one yet.

Unless they're hard to get ones, like the LSB and USB filters 
for the ISB board, prices normally run in the $40 - $60 range.

If you don't mind mechanical filters, contact Gary Wingerd. I
recently bought two Collins mechanicals, 6 KHz wide, for $25
each from his EBAY auctions.

If you contact him directly, he currently has the #8408 crystal
filter, 6.8 KHz wide, for $50, and the same for the "special"
6.8 KHz filter, #8414.
