[Premium-Rx] WJ-8716 Problem

Hi Folks,

After years of faithful performance, my WJ-8716 seems to have developed an
intermittant problem.  After remaining on for a few hours, the band will go
"dead" leaving only background noise (which rolls off with decreasing BW
selection).  I can turn the unit off and then back on, and the band will
come alive, only to go away when the tuning knob is turned a bit.  It seems
to be a problem somewhere in the IF circuitry (AGC?).

Has anyone experience similar problems?  Just thought I'd ask before
"digging in".
