Does anyone have further info on this unit? It's a rack mounted chassis and card
cage, by Harris, labeled 'Modem Interface Unit'. In addition to the power
supply, there are slots for 8 PC cards, each card wired to a 15 pin and 37 pin
'D' connector.

Each card is about 15" x 8" and has what appear to be 2 essentially identical
8031 microprocessors on it, along with about 20 TTL chips and an EPROM Harris
P/N 10190-5556 and an SCN 2661B.

There are also 2 sets of card edge indicators and controls on each card as
follows:

2 LEDs 'FAULT' and 'TEST'
1 push button 'RESET"
1 switch 'SINGLE FREQ' 'NORMAL' 'MULTI FREQ'

It is Harris ASSY 10190-5550

I can email you a pic of the PC card if that's help.

At a guess it's a hopping controller, but I don't know. It was connected to an
RF-590H

Thanks,
-John
