You can always open it up and add a turn to the HV transformer's filament
winding. That'll bring the brightness up substantially, at the cost of a
big portion of the tube's remaining life.
Failing that, try Tucker Electronics at (877) 667-6044. They sometimes
offer surplus HP CRTs for sale. Also
