[Premium-Rx] RA6790/GM BITE Error code issue

Hi,

I am new member(Feb'03) and I have gained a good amount of knowledge by
reading this mailing list articles.  Thank you all for it.

I have a RA6790/GM receiver with 0.4, 1.2 and 3.4 filters and the following
EPROMs
	1.  RA90GM /V2.2
          L0 A6A2 451
	    A08449
	2.  RA90GM /V2.2
          L2 AGA2 V6  (not sure of this as the handwriting on the EPROM is
bad)
	    A08449
	3.  RA90GM /V2.2
          L4 A6A2 414
	    A08449

When I do the BITE test, it runs thru the routine and comes back with a
redlight (75% of the time).
I get the following errors:
P0 50 50 00 (no/red light)
40 50 50 00 (w/red light)
5_ 5_ 5_ _ _(w/red light)
A0 50 50 00 (w/red light)

Then I do the "Remote", "MAN", select a band, "Enter", select a frequency
and Voila!  it tunes to whatever I selected.  The redlight will be gone.

Can somebody tell me why I am getting the above errors?  I was told that
there should be only two digits for the BITE errors but I get all 8 digits
litup.

Otherwise the receiver is working very well.
