Hi,
has anyone got any opinions of the CIR-KIT pcb repair kits, made in USA,
they contain loads of replacement track bits, plated through hole bushes,
edge connectors etc. Anyone come across these? Dave

I'm not sure if they are the same but Pace (maker of the solder sucking
machine) made a lit of replacement eyelets, swaging tool, and tracks for
PCB repair. It was time consuming to use, but would do long lasting repairs.
Some rosin based liquid flux and a clear liquid 2 part epoxy was also a
help.

If you have a long track t replace, 3M and others make adhesive backed
copper tape. There was also a kit made by Bishop (?) for making pseudo-PCBS
by sticking elements to perf board. Some of the kit's contents were useful
for PCB repair.

BTW, a low power stereo microscope is a big help.
