Did anyone besides yours truly participate in the ARRL Frequency Measuring Test? I did, and received the results by mail yesterday. The transmitted frequency on 40 meters was 7046882.3 Hz. I measured 7046882 with the Harris RF-590/Austron oscillator using an oscilloscope, signal generator and counter. That's a 0.04 PPM error in frequency. Not too shabby! I think I could have gotten closer but conditions were bad. About an hour earlier I could hear the ARRL CW transmissions on all bands, but the ionosphere fell apart during that hour, and I was lucky to hear the 40 meter transmission.
