Hi,
My point is every few weeks somebody throws out some school of hard knocks
information. It would be nice if we had a place to store this stuff sorted
by receiver model. I not suggesting putting Jan to work but maybe folders
could be generated where users could store information sorted my model.
Even stored by manufacturer would be great. The archives are getting quite
large and it is hard to look back in time. Maybe it could be set up to sort
on subject. We all could just put the RX model in the subject. I bring this
up because at home I just load information into 3 ring binders piled all
over the basement. I don't know the answer because I'm so guilty of
pack-rat-idus. fc

Subject: Equipment Pictures

Hello Frank and everybody:

I had an idea that would benefit all the members. And of course
if Premium RX management finds this appropriate:

I was thinking for a long time if we can somehow have a database of
Pictures of Equipment of members own and would like to share the
pics, as well as Pictures of Modules and Boards belonging to these
radios. This way a lot of us can see different equipment and also pictures
of modules would be very helpful in understanding what is for what ( for
example the RF590A has at least 2 - 3 different part numbers for the
digital preselector that I have seen so far ).
Interested members can send their equipment pics into a data base and we
can all see the equipment.
This would be of particular interest to memebers with technical issues as
well.
I think one picture is equal to 1000.... words sometimes.
After all we all like to see these beauties if not able to own them have
their
pictures in front.
I know of one free data base for pics, www.cartogra.com and you can
upload pics there. And perhaps Frank you have a solution for this as the
database may be a very large one when pics are loaded.

Just an idea and I thought members may find this interesting. Premium
RX can expand to a new dimension this way and be even more interesting.
Of course if this is in line with Prem.RX way of managing this entire
concept.
