Hi,
Heat them with an iron and lift the leads with an exacto knife. Sometimes
you can actually lift the leads without heating them up. A good microscope
helps. fc

Any suggestions on really good ways to depopulate an SM board? I need these
teensy bits now and then and would like to salvage from some old boards. My
concern is how hot can the components get before they are NG. I don't
(obviously) have a proper rework station, but wonder about using a lab type
heat gun? The solder used seems to be fairly lo temp ...

Suggestions welcome - I already know about the so-called "Weber Process"
involving the use of a Weber BBQ ...
