Hi All,
Gary Wingerd provided me source code for a couple versions of software
for the RA6830. He
really likes the 6790 so he may also have the code. The comment fields
were filled enough
that a hardware puke like me can follow it. It might save some work
checking with him.
I wonder if the 1792 code is the same as the 6790? It also uses the F8.

Many thanks to all those who posted replies to my IEEE interface problem.
I think I have indeed opened a can of worms here. I can find no definitive
documantation as to what Eproms should or could be fitted to early models.
However, on a more positive note, I did get an email from Bob Chadwick
together with a source listing for a set of RA6790 Eproms. Bob is currently
putting together a new controller card for his RA6790 using the 68HC11
family and has most of the code written.
The original source was disassembled and commented by Guido Kueppers.
Guido has done a really great job and doesn't mind his work going into the
public domain. The C source for an F8 disassembler is also available and if
anybody wants a copy please email me.
Best regards
Chris
