Dear Local DSES Members,
I am still looking for a few more Special Awards Judges for the 2026 Pikes
Peak Regional Science and Engineering Fair to be held at the UCCS Student
Center in Colorado Springs this Saturday, Feb. 28th.
If you can help, please send me your contact information, including your
cell phone number.
If you can volunteer, this will only take about three and a half hours.
Arrive around 9:45AM and come to room 122 in the University Center where
you will be given instructions and a booklet describing the projects.
Judging should be completed by 1PM.

Dear Special Awards Judges,



Thank you again for volunteering to judge at this year’s Pikes Peak
Regional Science and Engineering Fair.  We appreciate your support. We are
so pleased that you have agreed to judge projects for special awards.



The Pikes Peak Regional Science and Engineering Fair is about a week away.
It will be held on Saturday,  Feb 28, 2026 at UCCS.



Please arrive around 10AM and come to room 122 in the University Center
where you will be given instructions and a booklet describing the
projects.  We hope you will be able to complete your judging by 1PM.



Although it wasn’t required, some students have put their displays on a
virtual showcase. You can preview them here -

This year’s categories are:

JA - Jr Life Science

JB - Jr Earth & Environmental Science

JC - Jr Physical Science

JD - Jr Engineering, Math & Computer Science

SA - Sr Life Science

SB - Sr Earth & Environmental Science

SC - Sr Engineering/Physical Science

SD - Sr Computer Science, Math and Computational Bioinformatics



   -

   The project number for judging is the number in the title of the project.
   -

   Projects are grouped by judging category, but may not be in
   chronological order on the showcase.
   -

   Projects can be filtered by category or searched by key terms in a title.
   -

   The showcase digital items include an abstract and digital display
   slides.
   -

   The student backboard at the PPRSEF at UCCS will show roughly the same
   information.





Parking is free on Saturdays.  Please do not park in handicapped or
reserved spaces.
