Dear PPARA,

   As an amateur radio operator teenager in the 1960s in Los Angeles, I went on “Hidden Transmitter Hunts.”  These Saturday night weekly events were so exciting to a kid 60 years ago (and still are):  One HAM (the “Fox”) hides a transmitter at a secret location in LA, and a group of T-Hunters, in cars equipped with receivers and directional antennas, compete to find the Fox!
   I recently presented a popular talk on my teenage experiences to the Ventura County Amateur Radio Club  in May 2024.  It was recorded on Zoom and is available to anyone (for free) at the following URL:
