[PPRAANet] satellite operation questions for a beginner/intermediate

First of all I am not sure this email I am using is the correct one for what i need.  Apologies if it is not.
I am set up for satellite operations ie arrow antenna, tracking software, a couple handheld radios , recording with my phone and  TWO  contacts so far off S0-50 and ISS. I have stumbled past the very beginner stage but would like to be a bit more  efficient.
I would like to talk to someone with a bit more experience for 15 minutes? Sample questions

1 am I logging  correctly
2 I have a list of satellites are these  correct and actually practical ones
3 changing freq to account for doppler, I am not doing this so far as  I am currently task overloaded.   so how to be efficient.
4 I am not hearing my voice on download should I ?
5 Min elevation to hit a satellite?
6 correct speaking protocols for contacts  lets just say this varies.
