[PPRAANet] PPRAA POTA Spring Support Your Parks Weekend Event

Good Evening All,

 

Just a reminder that we will Operating with the PPRAA Club call sign AF0S
for the POTA Spring Support Your Parks Weekend Event this Saturday, April
20, 2024 from 9AM to 4PM at Cheyenne Mountain State Park.

 

If you are on the fence due to the weather forecast, just today we were able
to book the Campers Services Meeting Room to operate from - meaning we will
be inside out of the elements (antenna's will still be outside).  This
location is not far from the outdoor area shown on the map on the Club's
website.  Instead of turning left off the main road (JL Ranch Heights Road)
towards the Raptor Glen Campground and Falcon Amphitheater, turn right into
the building parking lot and the room is on the north side of the building
(look for antenna's).

 

This is a great opportunity to learn all about POTA.  We will have several
different setup's to look at and some very well-seasoned activators to learn
from.
