[PPRAANet] SOTA Alert

Hi Everyone,

 

Dave/N0DMP and I/KD8EQA plan to activate Peak 11580 (W0C/SC-033) tomorrow
(August 1st), beginning about 16:15z (10:15am local).  It is located in the
Wet Mountains, just west of Rye, CO.  We'll begin on 2 meters; 146.52 MHz,
and hope you'll be available to monitor and chase us.  Line-of-site is
pretty good for Westcliffe, Trout Creek Pass, Guffey, Florissant, Divide,
Peyton, Falcon, Fountain, Pueblo, Pueblo West, and east/southeast Colorado
Springs.

 

This peak also qualifies as a POTA activation in park K-4407, San Isabel
National Forest.  So, POTA Hunters are encouraged to work us as well.
