[PPRAANet] Yesterday's SOTA Summit on Bear Peak near Westcliffe CO

Hi Everyone, 



I just wanted to share a video I made about yesterday's SOTA Summit. Ray KD8EQA and I completed our ascent near WestCliffe, CO in Custer County on Bear Peak. This was a first time SOTA summit for this mountain ever being activated.  Our approach was delayed significantly as we worked to figure out a route to drive in to access the BLM land.  We started our hike late in the day, but were able to activate the mountain successfully. Checkout the video about our trip.  To all who chased us up on the mountain we wish to extend a big thank you! We initially thought we were going to have to scrub our ascent, but we were eventually able to work out our approach strategy summited late in the day.
