[PPRAANet] SOTA Alert

Hi Everyone,

 

Chris/W0CNX and I/KD8EQA plan to activate Bear Peak (W0C/SC-071) tomorrow,
beginning about 20:00z (1:00pm local).  We're pretty excited about this one
because it is a First Activation for this SOTA peak.  We'll begin on 2
meters; 146.52 MHz, and hope you'll be available to monitor and chase us.
Line-of-site is pretty good for southwest Colorado Springs, Peyton, Falcon,
Guffy, Florissant, and only minor obstructions to Pueblo and Pueblo West.

 

Hoping to make history with you, and get you in the log for this First
Activation.
