[PPRAANet] Amazon Smile

Yeah, I got a note about this at the charity I work for, too.

But, in one sense, Amazon Smile could be considered a low-paying 
referral/advertising program, at ½ of one percent if I remember right.  
We had an Amazon Smile account and occasionally got donations that way, 
but we never really did any advertising for Amazon (i.e., inviting 
donors to shop at Amazon in order to generate Amazon Smile credits to 
our charity).

So, it was certainly not a bad thing, but it also never seemed like an 
amazing tool either.  And in recent years I've not really seen many 
charities advertising it, which may explain why Amazon is giving it the 
axe.u
