[PPRAANet] Sad news about one of the ham community

All,

  I'm very sad to inform you of the tragic passing of a good friend and local Amateur Radio Operator,  Dan Hall, KD0UQP.
  Dan has been a friend of mine since we met several years ago.  A shooting buddy and a fellow ham.  His other dream pursuit was flying.  Being unable to get his pilot's license due to medical issues, he elected to go the ultralight aircraft route.  After a serious setback or two, he got his dream aircraft assembled recently.  On Good Friday morning,  he made his final safe takeoff.  Tragically,  the landing took his life. After valiant efforts by the excellent medical staff in a local hospital,  he passed away on last Sunday evening.
Dan will be sadly missed by his Wife, Jan and their daughter,  Danica and all of his shooting and ham friends.
  I will post any further information from Dan's family that I receive.
