The solar flux today is 161 -- the highest I've seen so far in this
sunspot cycle, and 10 meters has been wide open for the past couple days.
For those who are new, 29.5 - 29.7 MHz is assigned for FM use. These
past few days, one of the FM repeaters on the east coast, KQ2H/R, on
29.62 MHz, has been full quieting during the late morning, early afternoon.
I think they're running high power.  Also, this repeater can be accessed
through Echo Link.

Information on the repeater is accessible here:
https://www.repeaterbook.com/repeaters/details.php?ID=236&state_id=36
Offset -0.100 MHz and 146.2 tone

Also you might want to monitor the 10-meter FM calling frequency -- 29.6
MHz.  I haven't heard anyone on it during this cycle, but during the
past cycle I've made a few contacts, including 6Y5 and ZL.  Due to the
limited frequency span on the 10-meter band, this is really the only
frequency you can use for simplex.  There are other repeaters on other
frequencies on 10-meter FM.

Have fun.
