[PPRAANet] SOTA Requests

Hi Everyone,

 

I'll be activating Burntop, SOTA summit W0C/SP-074, near Tarryall Reservoir
tomorrow (Saturday), starting about 17:30 (11:30am local).  I'll be on
146.52 MHz. and then switching to 20m ssb.  So, anyone on the Woodland Park,
Divide, Lake George side of Ute Pass that's available and can respond, it
would be MUCH appreciated.

 

But wait!  For those of you on the Colorado Springs side of Ute Pass, on
SUNDAY, Joshuah, K0NAJ, and I will be doing an activation of either Booth or
Timber Mountain (located within Fort Carson's downrange area).  In this case
it will be a First Activation of the mountain (it's a big deal in the SOTA
world to be the first to activate a summit).  We've both gone through a lot
of training and hoop-jumping to be able to get the required downrange passes
for this activation.  So again, if anyone can listen on 146.52 MHz and
respond, we'd be thrilled to get you in the log for this First Activation.
We hope to start the activation about 15:30 (9:30am local).
