I just found out that - at least for the time being - there will be no
application fees for upgrades to current licenses.

I am not sure if an upgrade asking for a new systematic call sign (new
2x3, or new 2x2 for Extra) will incur a fee, but I strongly suspect that
it might.

I am only the messenger, so don't shoot me. (I am not a piano player.)
