All,

  It was almost a big day today.  Almost.  Mike was scheduled to move to a local care facility, but at the last minute, someone dropped the ball and it didn't happen.  It's re-scheduled for Monday.  Hopefully, things will work out the next time and he will be out of the hospital for good.  He's on the respirator only at night now and he's going into the only care facility that can handle his specific situation.  He's on supplemental O2 during the day and the respirator at night until his breathing capabilities are improved enough to ditch the resp.
  I'm holding off reporting his upcoming location until he's all settled in and able to accept visitors.  His energy level is not up to speed yet so we don't want to wear him out with a bunch of traffic.  When I have a chance to see him, I'll take an HT to see if it will work in his room and I'm sure he'd love to listen to the traffic on the repeaters and the Jim Net.
  Many thanks to all who have been keeping in touch and asking about our buddy, Mike.  I'm sure that all the positive thoughts and your prayers have really helped him to recover.  I'm sure he'll have some good words of advice to any of us who is thinking of getting up on a ladder in the future!
