Mike,
I have a Chromebook with Ubuntu on it that needs a new battery and it would be good. Might have to start from scratch with a new install since I am not 100% sure I remember the password. I put either a 512 or a 1tb solid state HD in it before I shelved it. I will be back in America the first week of February if you want it. I think it has 16Gb of RAM too. I would love to pass it along to someone who would use it.

Hey Mr. Mike, you're coming into my world here so I might be able to give you a hand with some of your requests. I recommend NOT using old versions of Windows, as they are unsupported by Microsoft and so if you try to use them nowadays they are highly insecure and hackers will quickly turn your computers into "zombies" to send spam email and attack other computers.
Instead, I recommend a modern Linux distribution like "Debian" which runs great on old or low-resource computers. I use it on old Raspberry Pi single-board computers, and they run great, with fast security updates when necessary. For old computers, most old peripherals are supported with the correct drivers right out of the box.
For certificates and graphics, I recommend an open-source program called "Inkscape," which runs great on Linux on Raspberry Pis or old computers. There is also a Windows version, if you must use that. I have used Inkscape to make QSL cards, radiogram forms for the National Traffic System, and certificates.
Here is where you can find Inkscape: https://inkscape.org/
It's also supplied with modern Linux distributions like Debian.
I am off work for a few days, so if you want me to swing by and show you a few Linux tricks or Inkscape tutorials, let me know! I think you will enjoy some of these open-source tools.

I am looking for Win 98,Vista, and WIN 7 install disks. Graphics programs to make better certificates with. It is good and fun to be able to do computers again.
