[PPRAANet] Help for WB6DAS in Tucson

Hi all, 

My good ham friend of over 50 years,  MIKE BRINKS WB6DAS, lives near Tuscon,  AZ and had a minor stroke a couple years ago.  He needs help getting back on the air.  I sent him a Baofeng and programmed it for ORO VALLEY Club repeaters,  but he hasn't been able to get onto them. 
Does anyone know any hams near Catalina Area just north of Tucson where he lives that could help him.  He's on QRZ.  I have an HF RIG for him but don't know his HOA requirements.
