A Few years ago i was listening to the COG and one train
called to the other train and said:
"Watch out at Minnehaha, there is a break in the rails",
"i threw a few grease rags out to spot it".

The COG Railroad is running again using the same radio system.
If you are close to Manitou you can hear the repeater base station on 161.550 MHz.
If you are far away you can hear the trains on top of the Peak at 160.230 MHz.
Listen for "Snow Plow 30".
If you ride the train be sure to take your VHF HT monitor.
When you are on "Son of a Gun" Hill you can see the 7 Lakes Wilderness area from the East side of the train.
