Good morning Doug W0UHU,
When sending my QTH via CW, I typically use CO. If the other station asks where in CO, I then will send Colorado Springs.

For one thing, there is only one Colorado Springs, so I should not have to include the CO part, anybody can figure out that Colorado Springs is in Colorado. Also, for most purposes it is only the state that really matters anyway, so I could just say ?QTH is Colorado? and that would usually be enough.
