[PPRAANet] Electrical noise from central A/C?

Good idea to stipulate RFI mitigation upfront.
I have a heat-pump-plus-furnace system that is ten years old and causes no
interference. These might be single-speed motors.

Right next to it is a washing machine about the same age with a VFD that
wipes out AM broadcast and HF with any kind of indoor antenna.
A proper dipole up in the trees took care of most of that.
