The state has introduced a new webpage for Coronavirus information. https://covid19.colorado.gov/ .

Impacts continue to change rapidly. Local news such as KRDO, KOAA, Fox21, KKTV, The Gazette are good sources of information. Sit down restaurants can only do take-out or delivery. Some stores are implementing special hours and are setting aside specific hours for the elderly or disabled.

Check in on your neighbors and friends, while maintaining "social distancing" of the recommended 6 feet. Because of the hoarders, some of your neighbors may not have been able to get things they need.

There are some scammers/con artists calling people or even showing up on doorsteps saying things like you came in contact with an infected person or telling you they are going to do a Coronavirus inspection of your home and then trying to get money or personal information from you. Don't fall for it! There are also some bogus websites that have been created to spread malware, so be wary of what you click on.

Do not believe everything you see on social media or via emails. There are a ton of people out there claiming "I was a doctor for xx years" or some such thing and then weighing in with their personal opinions. They are spreading a lot of bad information. Please, do not forward such emails or share such posts. One of the hardest things to deal with in any disaster or emergency is the volume of misinformation and rumors. That includes pointing fingers and place blame. Let's not add to the madness.

Instead, I urge you to get official information from official sources like the CDPHE and the CDC.

As stated elsewhere, there is no magic dietary supplement that will prevent this virus. While it never hurts to get all your vitamins, taking extra supplements like pomegranate, acai, elderberry, echinacea, mega doses of Vitamin C, etc. are not a shield against the virus.

I will continue to send updates as things develop.
