Quarter Century Wireless Association.  A group for hams who got their first license at least 25 years ago, though associate members don't have to meet that criteria.

One QCWA chapter only has 2 meetings a year so too many meetings a year will not be a problem. It looks like an ASSOCIATE membership is okay for those licensed less than 25 years.
I have a list of Colorado QCWA  members from when chapter 58 closed.
Is anyone interested? This will be new and we will learn more as we go along.

Hi all,
This weekend is the January VHF Contest, so we have a group headed to
Mount Herman to operate from there on Sunday.
We will be on HF and VHF for normal Summits On The Air activity and on
the VHF/UHF bands for the contest.
It looks like we have 5 operators, so we will be covering a number of bands.
Operators are: Bob/K0NR, Joyce/K0JJW, Steve/WG0AT, Jon/KM4PEH, Brad/WA6MM.

For the SOTA activity (especially the HF), keep an eye on SOTAwatch:
https://sotawatch.sota.org.uk/

For VHF contest activity, look for us on:

    146.52 FM
146.55 FM (we will call on .52 but try to move off of it so we don't
    monopolize the calling freq)
    446.0 FM
    144.200 USB
    50.125 USB
    423.100 USB

We expect to be on the air starting at around 11:15 AM and we'll go
until our behinds are frozen (probably 2 to 4 hours).

To work us in the VHF contest, you'll need to know your grid locator.
Grid locator info is here:
https://www.k0nr.com/wordpress/my-articles/vhf-grids/
We will all be using our own callsigns, so try to work us all on all
bands you can.

Info on working a VHF contest is here:
https://www.k0nr.com/wordpress/my-articles/how-to-work-a-vhf-contest/

We hope to "see you on the air."
