[PPRAANet] OEM & Red Cross Providing Masks

  The local OEM & Red Cross are providing non-medical masks to First Responders and Helpers
in Colorado Springs.
   They have assembled mask kits to be assembled by local Quilters and then delivered to users.
   My XYL, Sharon  (N0OPM), is the president of the local quilt group and she collected all the kits and delivered the kits to the members (25) yesterday for assembly.
   Each kit has enough material for about 20 masks. Sharon made about 20 yesterday for our friends but soon ran out of elastic and had to switch to tie-on masks. Hobby Lobby is closed and the  elastic material has disappeared from Walmart.
   The Quilt Bee's have stopped meeting together but now meet on Zoom.
Just like old times, the Red Cross operation used Zoom, Siri, Cell Phones and Ham Radio to
get those kits out to the Quilters. The machines are running right now.
Pick up and delivery will be next week.
