George,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but OEM is no more. They were scheduled to close last month, but were able to extend into this month.
Sad but true. Now, we are down to ZERO for component availability in Colorado Springs.

One of the discussion at the breakfast yesterday was that there
was no place left in Co Sp to purchase componets. At the time I was
thinking new parts from commercial stores. I completely forgot about my main
local source. Not really a complete favorite but able to meet many
of my parts need. OEM on Hancock about 2 blocks north of Filmore.
Everything from vacuum tubes to pneumatic/hydraulic valves, cylinders etc.
Some good prices on Oscopes and other test equipment, some fairly modern.
Also 19" racks/parts/panels, aluminum sheets boxes, plastic project boxes and more.
Depending on what you need it can turn into a pretty time consuming search but
typically worth it if you find it. OEM made it possible to build a 30 rod Rocket launch controller
and had the switches needed to modify it when a mod was requested by one of the members.
Included parts from OEM, plus Auto junk yard and a few on line catalog stores.
If you enjoy looking through many shelves of many open boxes and haven't been there check out OEM.
If there is time then Jameco on the web along with MPJA.com are good mail order sources.
