For those who were not aware, the FCC publish Communications Status Reports for major disasters/emergencies.  Here is the latest regarding the power and fire issues in California:  https://www.fcc.gov/document/ca-power-shutoff-communications-status-report-oct-30-2019


This report incorporates network outage data submitted by communications providers to the Federal Communications Commission’s Disaster Information Reporting System (DIRS). At the time of this report, DIRS was activated for 32 affected counties in California. It has since added 5 more counties.
