This story immediately reminded me of one of the first public service 
events I ever did, back in 1995. I remember that John, N0QJS, was on 
that event - first time I got to know him, really. I don't recall the 
name of the event but it was on the ranch that Robert Norris had, just 
south of where Pikes Peak International Raceway is.

Quite interesting how he never smoked.
