[PPRAANet] FCC vs Baofeng radios

Looks like us amateurs can use them, but the onus for complying with the 
emission rules is on us.

“Even if a two-way VHF/UHF radio operates solely within the amateur 
frequencies, the operator is required to have an amateur license to 
operate the device and must otherwise comply with all applicable rules.”

That would be consistent with amateur radio rules. I could build a radio 
and use it without FCC certification as long as I comply with FCC 
emission rules. That is why I got my amateur radio license, after all.
