[PPRAANet] Community Emergency Response Training January 31st-February 3rd

The El Paso County Office of Emergency Management will hold free 
Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) in Monument January 
31st-February 3rd. This training is open for registration now.

The 20-hour workshop includes basic skills and knowledge to better 
prepare for a disaster and improve recovery for your neighborhood. 
Topics covered include personal and family preparedness, local risks, 
fire extinguisher use, disaster medical operations, simple triage, light 
search & rescue, psychological first aid, terrorism awareness, and more.

The training is hosted by the Emergency Preparedness Group of the 
Tri-Lakes United Methodist Church and is open to everyone. 
Pre-registration is required.
