The QRP Labs QCX design is a 5W CW transceiver with digitally
synthesized VFO, LCD readout, rotary encoder tuned, very high performance
receiver, CW decoder, frequency/message memories, standalone WSPR beacon
mode (no PC required), A/B VFO, Split, RIT, and all built-in test/alignment
equipment; available monoband on 80, 60, 40, 30, 20 or 17m. A lot of
functionality and performance for $49!
As of Feb. 2018, 3,580 have been sold since

   I did not want to use the QCX because the display would not fit my case, and
I wanted 10W. I also did not need the test equipment or wspr functions.
